SMWC’s Master of Science in Nursing is again ranked by U.S. News & World Report

News | 05.01.2024

Once again, the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) has been ranked in the recently released 2024-25 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate School rankings.

Janet Clark, Ph. D., provost/executive vice president for academic affairs, credits the dedicated faculty for the program’s success. “SMWC is blessed to have experienced faculty who are working hard to give quality instruction to our students. I am pleased to see the program receive this national recognition.”

The MSN program with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) concentration began in 2018 at SMWC. Marcia Miller, Ph.D., RN, dean of the Division of Nursing and Sciences, is pleased for the recognition. “I am extremely proud of our MSN program and the efforts of our instructors and our students. Our graduates continue to succeed in the workforce and to fill a high demand for nurse practitioners.”

Students have the option to attend classes in person, live online or view the recorded class online. This flexibility of the program allows students to work toward advancing their careers while still meeting their family and professional responsibilities.

“It is an honor to work alongside accomplished faculty to provide high-quality instruction to our students,” said Crystal White, DNP, FNP-C, RN and director of the FNP program. “Our emphasis on student-centered education that offers scheduling flexibility and individual attention provides our graduates with the necessary experience, skills and knowledge for a successful career as a family nurse practitioner.”

The MSN program is accepting applications for fall 2024 admission. For more information, visit 4dian8.com or email admissions@4dian8.com.
